The higher the better. A stable connection over 1 MB/s would be ideal.
Dial up - 56 KB/s
Low quality - 128 KB/s
Medium quality - 256 KB/s (realistically, the minimum required for streaming)
Mid-range quality - 512 KB/s
High quality - 768 KB/s
Very high quality - 1024 KB/s
If your upload speed is over 2 MB/s there could be a variable bitrate where a high stream uploads at 1024 KB/s and a lower end bitrate streams at 512 KB/s, keeping the total upload under the maximum limit. You can check your bitrate at www.nzdsl.co.nz or for further information drop us an email.
Can you do a multi-camera shoot?
Yes! We can set up two cameras plus any other 'shots' with PDFs etc (if, for example, we are streaming a presentation).
Can you key the shots?
Yes we can. If you want your own branding in the keys just send the files through and when the person speaks the key can fade in an out.
Is it HD?
At the moment we are set up as Standard Definition. Most users in New Zealand wouldn't have a decent connection for downloading HD as a live stream.
Can it be recorded?
Yes it can. We can edit and upload the videos to your YouTube site as well.
Can the player be embedded in my website?
Yes it can, although allow some time to make sure this is set up correctly.
